Grumman HU-16 B Albatross - Serial Number 49099 - Approximately 5,000 TT with 500 on the engines and props - Licensed Restricted Category - This aircraft has not been flown or started in over 10 years and will require extensive work to put her back in shape. The control services need to be recovered, it needs new tires and the engines will probably need a top overhaul. The avionics are old and functional and we have numerous spare parts. This unique aircraft is a long wing Triphibian which means it can land on ice, snow, land and water. It's restricted category and seating allows for up to 12 crew members for long term photographic missions and geographic survey. We have done airshows and fishing and diving expeditions all over North America and the Bahamas. The Grumman Albatross is the Ultimate Adventure Machine and the perfect aircraft for a YouTube Channel and ongoing Adventure Series.
